Suggesting Ring Size for Women

September 21, 2011 in Adjustable Rings, Homepage, Jyotish, Men's Rings, Suggesting Ring Size, Women's Rings by mike

If you must guess follow these instructions and chart.

We are going to start guessing by focusing on the “ring finger” (the one next to your little “pinky” finger).  From this we can deduce other finger sizes, you’ll learn below. First all fingers on the right hand are about a half size larger than the left, even for most Left-Handers, but not always for really ambidextrous people who work a lot with both hands, and consequently more muscle.

How do you deduce other finger sizes if you know the ring size?

Let us Pretend that  the “Ring Finger” is a size 5,  then the Middle Finger is a size 5.5half a size larger than your ring finger.  Furthermore, the  Index Finger  and the Thumb are a size 6, one whole size larger than your ring finger.

Lastly, your “Pinky” finger is, usually 2-3 sizes smaller, than your ring finger.  I recommend getting the pinky finger sized as it’s the most likely to catch on clothing and get lost.

Has the person ever broken  her or his finger then it will usually be larger by a whole size, but that is a rough guess.  You have to also take arthritis into account as this significantly increases the knuckle size which makes wearing a ring difficult because the only size that one can get on rolls on the finger.  Adjustable rings work well to solve this dilemma.

The chart below works for women between 1 (one) year old and 55 years old, and is mostly for the average woman’s finger sizes.

Use this Chart to find your friends ring size on the Right & Left Hand.
